Assessment of using the non-carbonated wastes on the microstructure of clinker and Portland cement with low consumption of heat and low CO2<\/sub> emissions (15 September 2010) Specific objectives for this phase were the following: <\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Performing technology of clinker obtaining with low consumption of heat and low CO2<\/sub> emissions<\/strong><\/p>\n –\tCharacterization the raw mixes with content of non-carbonated materials: grindability, burnability;<\/p>\n –\tCalculation of heat theoretic consumption –\tTheoretical calculation of emitted CO2<\/sub> ;<\/p>\n –\tAssessment impact using non-carbonated wastes on environment<\/p>\n 2. Assessment of non-carbonated wastes effect with\/without mineralizator on clinker and cement quality:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Performing of optimum raw mixes, efficient from energetic point of view and of CO2<\/sub> emissions, structural and chemical characterization of these (analyses through optical microscopy, X-rays diffraction, selective electron-scan microscopy (type SEM) coupled with EDAX well, chemical analyze);<\/p>\n – Cements performing; – Evaluation of hydraulic activity for the cements obtained from laboratory clinker through physical, chemical and mechanical methods (mechanical resistances, chemical bound water, X-rays analyze).<\/p>\n 3.
